Rt Hon Marcus Onobun Ksc has in a statement by his media team disclosed that he is not aware of any meeting called to support any candidate nor was he invited to any ,as he is hearing it from this writer.

“It is pertinent to note that the said meeting is a figment of the imagination of the writer of this ,as I have been a loyal Party member since my return to the APC, which has been my home .

” I wish to state that I am not aware of any political rivalry or scheming in Esan Land as the senatorial District is working in unity for peace, progress, development and the Success of the state Governor Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo.”

” While I am indeed grateful to his Excellency the Executive Governor of Edo State Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo who has invested so much in Security in the State, I wish to appeal to you sir to carry out a comprehensive investigation into the remote and immediate causes of the protest and mayhem with a view to bringing perpetrators and sponsors to book “.

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun Ksc called on all to remain calm,not be misled by fake news peddled to smear his image and, stressed that he has been on the side of the law and would support the Government to reclaim Edo Central senatorial District for the people.
