SAHCO PLC TO CONDUCT STAFF AUDIT

Skyway Aviation Handling Company SAHCO PLC is to undertake a staff audit and gap analysis with a view to expanding training opportunities, and encourage internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance staff capability and organizational agilities.

Speaking in Lagos during the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the company while projecting on 2026, the Managing Director of SAHCO, Mrs Adenike Aboderin affirmed that 2026 was to consolidate on gains and position SAHCO for even greater success vowing to continue to pursue operational efficiency while maintaining cost discipline.

According to her, the company’s priority areas include the full implementation of an Environmental Management System, the commencement of the IATA CEIV certification process, and sustained compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards and the ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System for information security, cyber security and privacy protection

Mrs Aboderin disclosed that the company will continue to strengthen its leadership in safety, sustainability, and service excellence adding that these initiatives will further improve the service quality, reinforce environmental responsibility, and position SAHCO to meet globally recognized standards in specialized cargo handling and operational excellence.

We remain committed to sustaining our upward performance trajectory and strengthening SAHCO’s position as the leading aviation ground handling company in the region”

She disclosed that the company’s key part of strategy will be restructuring along Strategic Business Units to improve market responsiveness and strengthen ability to adapt to the evolving aviation landscape.

“We also intend to intensify our marketing efforts,broaden our reach into other African markets,and continue defining and promoting our unique value proposition”

In order to support business growth and enhance service efficiency in 2025, the SAHCO Boss said the company continued to invest in critical Ground Support Equipment. “We acquired additional towed passenger steps, belt loaders, pallet dollies, forklifts, cargo tractors, and other operational equipment to strengthen our capacity across stations. We also sustained our investment in eco-friendly equipment in line with our commitment to sustainability and efficient service delivery.”

According to her, these strategic investments were essential to meeting increasing operational demands, improving turnaround times, and maintaining safe and seamless handling operations across our locations

Mrs Aboderin described 2025 as a year of growth, progress, and transformation, and expressed confident that the future holds even greater promise for SAHCO. She appreciated all her clients for a successful year
