Otaoghene Nowinta, daughter of Comrade Igbotako Nowinta, Executive Director of the Nigeria Good Governance Research Centre (NGGRC), on Wednesday, January 4, 2026, emerged winner of the Miss Big, Bold and Beautiful contest at the 2026 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Permanent Orientation Camp in Wanunne, Benue State.

The keenly contested event featured multiple segments designed to assess contestants’ intelligence, cultural awareness, composure, and communication skills.

Nowinta stood out across the stages, impressing judges and spectators with her confidence and depth, reinforcing the contest’s emphasis on both character and intellect.

A graduate of Geological Physics from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nowinta completed her studies in 2024 before joining the NYSC scheme.

Her victory crowns her as the Miss Big, Bold and Beautiful of NYSC Benue State for the 2026 service year.
