A Birthday Tribute to My Beloved Wife, Faith — August 8, 2026
Today, August 8, 2026, the heavens rejoice, because a remarkable woman, a cherished wife, a devoted mother and an extraordinary companion clocks 50.
Happy Golden Jubilee Birthday, my beloved Faith!
For more than 26 years, I have had the rare privilege of knowing you—not merely as the woman I married, but first as my girlfriend for three years, and subsequently as my wife, confidante, partner, friend and fellow traveller through the unpredictable but fascinating journey called life.
When I married you in March 2003, I deliberately designed and titled our wedding invitation “The Dawn of Wonders.”
That title was not accidental.
It was prophetic.
Somehow, deep within me, I knew that our coming together was going to announce the beginning of something extraordinary. I knew our union would become a platform upon which God would write stories of wonder, resilience, triumph and grace.
And today, looking back, I can boldly say:
The Dawn of Wonders was not merely a wedding invitation. It was a declaration of destiny.
Our marriage has indeed become a journey of wonders.
We have witnessed seasons of joy and moments of uncertainty. We have confronted challenges, celebrated breakthroughs, endured difficult times and enjoyed beautiful victories. Through it all, God Almighty has repeatedly demonstrated that He is the unseen hand behind our story.
He has blessed us with wonderful accomplishments.
He has blessed us with children whose journeys have become testimonies in themselves—some already university graduates, others still pursuing their dreams as undergraduates. Watching them grow, mature and pursue their destinies has been one of the greatest privileges and sources of gratitude of our lives.
Faith, when I look at the woman you have become at 50, I see much more than the passage of five decades.
I see grace.
I see strength.
I see endurance.
I see motherhood.
I see partnership.
I see sacrifice.
I see love.
I see faith.
I see a testimony.
And above all, I see the fingerprints of God.
We may not have had all the answers along the way, but God has always had the answers.
There were moments when the road seemed uncertain, but somehow, the Almighty made a way.
There were times when what we desired appeared impossible, yet God turned impossibility into possibility.
Indeed, our lives together have reinforced one profound conviction:
With our God, the impossible always succeeds, and what is unlikeliest is surest.
Therefore, as you celebrate your 50th birthday today, I do not merely celebrate the woman you have been.
I celebrate the woman you are becoming.
Fifty is not the end of the road.
It is a new beginning.
It is the golden doorway into another chapter of a life that still has many more pages to be written.
And I believe—with every fibre of my being—that the best is yet to come.
The years ahead shall bring greater fulfilment, greater accomplishments, greater opportunities, greater joy, greater family victories and deeper manifestations of God’s faithfulness.
The first chapter of “The Dawn of Wonders” may have been written in March 2003, but the story is far from finished.
The dawn has not become the sunset.
The best pages have not yet been written.
The greatest wonders are still ahead.
My dear Faith, thank you for walking this journey with me.
Thank you for being my wife.
Thank you for being a mother to our children.
Thank you for standing beside me through the years.
Thank you for the memories, the sacrifices, the laughter, the challenges, the victories and, most importantly, for sharing this extraordinary journey of destiny with me.
Today, I raise my voice in gratitude to God Almighty and declare:
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
To God be the glory for what He has done for Faith and me.
To God be the glory for our children.
To God be the glory for the battles He helped us overcome.
To God be the glory for the doors He opened.
To God be the glory for the miracles we witnessed.
To God be the glory for the ones we did not even know were miracles.
And to God be the glory for everything yet to come.
Happy 50th Birthday, my beloved Faith.
May your golden jubilee mark the beginning of an even more glorious season.
May your latter years be greater than your former years.
May your laughter become louder, your joy deeper, your influence greater and your testimony more compelling.
May God preserve you, strengthen you, honour you and continue to make your life a blessing to our family and to everyone whose path you cross.
After 26 years together, I have no doubt that choosing you was one of the greatest decisions of my life.
And if I were given the opportunity to begin the journey all over again, I would still choose you.
Because the woman I married in March 2003 has become an even more remarkable woman at 50.
My Faith.
My wife.
My companion.
My friend.
The mother of our children.
The woman with whom I began “The Dawn of Wonders.”
And today, I say to you with all my heart:
HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY, MY BELOVED FAITH!
The dawn has only just begun.
The wonders continue.
The best is yet to come.
With all my love,
Igbotako Nowinta
